Why "Leftie"
While economic inequality and workers' rights remain important issues, modern capitalism has created new challenges, such as the gig economy, automation, and the concentration of wealth in the hands of a small number of billionaires. Many people feel that traditional left-wing movements and parties have not kept pace with these changes or proposed effective solutions.
Issues such as racism, internationalism, and climate change are not adequately addressed by traditional left-wing politics, which still focus more narrowly on economic issues. This has led to a rise in grassroots movements and new left-wing parties, which prioritise issues such as participatory democracy, transparency, and accountability.
My initial pseudo-name, “neo-leftie”, originated from a wish to support this new wave of left, but i was at risk of sounding radical and ideological, on par with  “neo-nazi” and “neo-con”. An accidental mutation made a lot more sense and i was born again as:
Neo the leftie
